Michael is delighted to announce for the second year running, the photoshoot he provided for Daccs Hair and Beauty Salon in Washington has sent the salon through to another major UK final.
Cutting edge hair styles mixed with his award winning contemporary photography combined to send Nicola Slade through to the National finals of the Wella Trend Vision Awards ceremony held in Manchester on 15th May 2012.
The winning image of model Indi Sharp beat of competition from around the Uk to make the finals.
Michael would like to wish everyone associated with Daccs the very best wishes for the finals, adding ” The standard of the styles produce by the stylists completely surpassed those from last years competition. Everyone involved had upped their game from last year, and it has again proved successful “.

Sunderland based photographer Michael Hope has had two images placed into the Hall of Fame at the National Awards ceremony for the ” American Crew Face Off Awards Finals 2013 “. Michael was commissioned to take the images by Melanie Hunter from the Cutting Edge Hair and Beauty Salon of her chosen hair design for model Bailey. The entries were submitted from the whole of the UK, with only the finalists at the awards ceremony held at ” The Point ” in Manchester on Sunday 11th November. Melanie was delighted to be placed into the Hall of Fame, especially as this was the first Hair styling competition she has ever entered !!! Amazing !!! Melanie and Michael hope to team up again soon for further up and coming competitions.

Cutting edge hair styles combined with his award winning contemporary photography made sure that Nicki Cunningham (Young Talent), and Nicola Slade (Colour Award), made the Regional finals of the Wella Trend Vision Awards 2012, to be held on May 16th, at Manchester.
Michael would like to wish the two very talented girls the very best of wishes for the finals from everyone associated with Michael Hope Photography.
On the back of winning his four National Merit awards last October, Michael is now taking his award winning photography to do battle in America, by entering the prestigious Black and White Spider Awards.
Now in its 7th year, it is the leading International awards honouring black and white photography. The award entries reach photographers in 154 countries. Receiving a Black and White Spider Award is an endorsement of distinction from the most trusted names in the business. The awards ceremony takes place on Saturday 12th May 2012.
October 2011 saw renowned North East photographer continue his rise with four prestigious National Master Photographers Association awards.
The images he won with,( three for contemporary weddings and one for pets photography), were the most awards won by any one photographer in the whole of the North East of England.
The competition was open to photographers around the globe, with more than 2500 entries. Michael was presented with his awards at the awards ceremony held at the Hilton Hotel.
